The Artist
Haley Jones is a Jacksonville, FL-based Christian artist whose faith-forward storytelling has earned her a fiercely loyal following — 317k on TikTok, 220k on Facebook, and 150k on Instagram. With singles like “Heaven’s Got a Hold on Me” climbing streaming charts, Haley had the audience. What she didn’t have was a website that matched her moment.
The Problem
Haley’s existing site was built on Wix — functional, but barely. There was no dedicated About page, no Music page, no Videos section, and no structured tour dates. Merch was handled through a plain Wix form. The visual design lacked the warmth and personality that defined her brand everywhere else online, and every update required going back into a platform she didn’t own.
The site wasn’t just underperforming — it was actively undermining the impression her social presence was building.
The Approach
This was a true collaboration. I worked directly with Haley to nail down her creative vision — not just asking what she liked, but digging into what makes her her. To get us aligned quickly, I built a Pinterest moodboard with a few distinct design directions, and we worked through it together until we landed on something that felt unmistakably Haley: warm, retro, personal, and a little bold.
From there, I mocked up an initial hero section in Figma to pressure-test the direction and get her buy-in before moving into development. Once the look and feel were locked, I moved into a component-based build — translating brand decisions into reusable design tokens so every page felt cohesive.
My husband Trevor, one-half of the team at Auxano Digital, was also involved in the build — particularly in setting up the e-commerce infrastructure.
The tech stack:
- Astro for a fast, statically-generated site with no platform lock-in
- Headless Shopify for e-commerce — most CCM artists sell merch on a separate Shopify subdomain, but we wanted fans to buy directly on Haley’s site without ever leaving. Auxano Digital handled the headless integration to make that seamless
- Bandsintown integration for show dates that sync automatically across platforms
- Vercel for hosting — globally fast, with zero maintenance overhead
Pages built: Home · About · Music · Tour · Videos · Store · Booking · Newsletter
The homepage followed a deliberate fan journey — hear her, see her, follow her, know her, support her, stay connected — opening with a background video pulled from her music videos, flowing into her latest release, live show dates, a TikTok feed, YouTube embeds, her story, merch integrated directly on the page, and finally an email capture at the close.
The Outcome
The site went from kickoff call to live URL in under three weeks — with a custom visual identity, eight fully built pages, and headless Shopify merch integrated on-site.
Within 60 days of launch, Haley’s email subscriber list had grown by 59%. Her previous site had no email opt-in at all, so every fan who visited was leaving without a way to stay connected. That’s now fixed — and the list is growing. Booking inquiries picked up as well, with a dedicated inquiry form and a site that finally matched the credibility she’d built everywhere else.
Haley deserved a website that could stand alongside her peers in the CCM space — bold, beautiful, and unmistakably hers. That’s what we built.
